There is a lot of research on readability and typefaces. The Journal of Visual Impairment and Blindness published a review of 18 studies in which the total number of subjects was more than 1500 people. The researchers' conclusion: For people with low vision, sans-serif fonts such as Arial, Helvetica, Verdana or Adsans are more readable than serif fonts.

So Naturally, when the Court published a new DR-6 in October, 2023, they used a less-readable "serif" font.
